Howard Wilson Martin³ was born on 24 Oct 1876 in Forest Hill, Harford Co., MD.³ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Maryland.⁴ He died on 30 May 1963 in Baltimore, Baltimore City, MD.³ He died at House in the Pines - Belaire; 5837 Belair Road; Baltimore, MD at 3:15 A.M. He was buried on 3 Jun 1963 in Old Brick Baptist, Jarrettsville, Harford Co., MD.³ In the 1920 census, a cousin-in-law, Thomas E. Pyle (age 37 and born in Maryland) was enumerated with the family. Howard Wilson Martin and Hester May Pyle were married.

9. Hester May Pyle was born about 1875 in Pennsylvania. She appeared in the census in 1920 in Maryland.⁵ She died in 1934. She went by May. Both of her parents were born in Maryland. Children were:

	i.	A. Roberta Martin was born about 1907 in Maryland. She appeared in the census in 1920 in Maryland.6
