1280. Laird Malcomb Macleod of Raasay 8th acceded to the throne of Raasay in 1718 Passed chiefship of the clan to his son, John, in 1745 to fight in Prince Charles Edward Stuart' uprising of that year. Laird Malcomb Macleod of Raasay 8th were married. Children were:
